Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on kidnapping 23 year-old girl by using violence was completed in Lori Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee.
 

On March 16, 2015 a resident of Lori submitted a written report informing that her daughter was kidnapped by using violence from Mashtots Str., Vanadzor.
 

On March 16, 2015 a criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 131 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Through preliminary investigation circumstances of kidnapping the girl were found, the persons having committed the apparent crime were identified. According to the investigation data the resident of Lori V. Malaqyan knew in advance that 23 year-old girl did not want to marry but he reached a prior agreement with his three friends to kidnap her. According to the agreement on March 15, 2015 at about 15:00 they awaited in “Opel” car. When they saw the girl and the person accompanying her one of them caught the latter’s clothes to suppress the resistance and the other two using violence forced the girl into the car and kidnapped her.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained during pretrial proceeding 4 persons were charged according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 131 of RA Criminal Code.
 

The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
