In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Third garrison investigative unit of General Military Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee initiated on death of serviceman Harutyun Hambaryan charge was pressed against the soldier of the same unit, senior shooter D. Harutyunyan.
 

In the result of investigatory actions taken in the framework of preliminary investigation it was found that D. Harutyunyan, breaching the relations prescribed by field manuals between not subordinated servicemen, out of motives of emphasizing his apparent dominance, insulted and committed violence against H. Hambaryan.
 

Based on the obtained evidence D. Harutyunyan was charged according to the Part 1 of the Article 359 and the Part 1 of the Article 360 (2 counts) of RA Criminal Code.
 

The investigator submitted a motion to use detention as a pretrial measure against the defendant but it was rejected by the court.
 

The prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation of the criminal case appealed the decision of the court.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
