Information on murder of two RA citizens in Russian Federation
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Department of Moscow City of the RF Investigative Committee on murder of two RA citizens in Moscow. The murdered were identified.
By the instruction of the RA Investigative Committee the representative of the RA IC to the RF investigative bodies Ilia Varov is in constant touch with Russian partners and is periodically informed on the process of investigation of the criminal case initiated on two RA citizens’ murder.
According to the information provided by Russian partners, on October 23 at 15:40 (by Moscow time) a call was received in duty section of Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation from RA citizen Hasmik Nshanyan informing that she had not been able to get in touch with her brother actually living in Moscow Edward Nshanyan since October 17.
The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the address mentioned by the woman where two men’s bodies with firearm injuries were found. The two victims are RA citizens, Armenians by nationality and they were identified; the body of Edward Nshanyan, born in 1973, with firearm injury on the head was found near the bed on the floor and the body of Armen Israyelyan, born in 1970, with firearm injury on the head was found in the kitchen.
According to initial data, the mentioned persons died 3-5 days ago. Through inspection of the site 7 capsules of 5.45 caliber and 2 bullets were found.
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Department of Moscow City of the RF Investigative Committee according to the Part 2 of the Article 105 and the Part 1 of the Article 222 of RF Criminal Code. Forensic ballistic, forensic medical, forensic biological and forensic genetic examinations have been commissioned. Operative-intelligence measures are taken.
The investigative body got information on identification of the possible suspect who also, according to initial data, is RA citizen. Necessary operative-intelligence, investigatory measures are taken to find him.
