Investigation Conducted to Find out Circumstances of Infliction of Heavy Bodily Damage to Resident of Odzun Village
On April 5, 2021 at 03:05 a call was received in Tumanyan Police Division from “Alaverdi Medical Center” CJSC informing that the resident of Odzun village, born in 1982, with “injury on the right knee-joint” was taken to them. On the same day the latter was taken to “Heratsi N1” hospital complex, Yerevan.
Pursuant to the certificate received from “Heratsi N1” hospital complex on April 7, 2021 firearm injury of the right knee-joint, multiple fractures of the ankle of the right hip was diagnosed at him.
A criminal case was initiated in Tumanyan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.
Within the criminal case 38 year-old man was found the injured party, investigative and other procedural actions were conducted, among them inspection of the scene in the result of which blood-like traces were taken, the clothes the injured was wearing at the moment of the incident, as well as the bullet fragments taken out of his foot during the operation were taken, witnesses were questioned. Forensic medical examination was commissioned.
Necessary measures are taken to find out circumstances of the case, to identify and find the person (persons) having committed the alleged crime.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
