In the result of large-scale investigative and other procedural actions conducted in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee all circumstances of 26 year-old man’s murder were found out.

Through investigation it was found out that for the purpose of willful illegal deprivation of 26 year-old man’s life for scolding him and his family, on March 27, 2021 17 year-old resident of Yerevan went to Gyumri where he showed the latter’s photo in his mobile phone to the employees of the shop located in a house on Yerevan Avenue and the residents of the house and got information about the man’s residence address. Then he went to 26 year-old man’s apartment located in the same house, called him out under the pretext of getting clarifications about personal matters and stabbed him on the stairs with a folding knife he had taken with him on the left part of his chest. The latter died at the scene of the injuries he had received.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 17 year-old young man according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
