In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee measures are taken to find the circumstances of N. Harutyunyan’s disappearance.

On August 21, 2015 a report was received informing that on the same day at about 17:00 N. Harutyunyan left the gold market of “Vagharsh and Sons Group” LLC located at 24 Khorenatsi, Yerevan after which there was no information from her.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 110 of RA Criminal Code (cause to commit suicide).

During preliminary investigation a number of investigatory actions were conducted and operative-intelligence measures were taken, however N. Harutyunyan was not found. During preliminary investigation the members of N. Harutyunyan’s family, as well as more than a dozen of witnesses were interrogated.

By the instruction of the Chairman of RA Investigative Committee the results of the investigation were considered and the committal was reassessed according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code (willful murder).

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Joint measures are taken together with services conducting operative-searching actions in order to find N. Harutyunyan.
