In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts a number of circumstances of murder attempt against 4 persons committed on October 25 at Erebuni administrative district were found. On the base of the obtained evidence a decision was made to involve two persons as a defendant.

It was earlier informed that on the night of October 26 four persons V. Gevorgyan, A. Srapionyan, A. Avagyan and Vl. Gevorgyan with firearm injuries were taken to medical center. Through investigation it was found that the latters had been inflicted firearm injuries on the evening of October 25 at bookmaker office.

According to the evidence obtained in the result of investigatory and other procedural actions, on October 25 at about 23:30 some persons, with the intend of willful murder, entered one of the bookmaker offices operating at M. Khorenatsi Street, Yerevan and in a way dangerous for many people’s life fired shots with weapons kept by them illegally inflicting firearm injuries to Vahagn Gevorgyan, Arman Srapionyan, Vladimir Gevorgyan and Arman Avagyan who were at the office at that moment.

As a result, Vahagn Gevorgyan was inflicted penetrating firearm injury on his abdomen with tattered liver, Arman Srapionyan was inflicted injury on his left foot, Vladimir Gevorgyan was inflicted damage of soft tissues on the right thigh, Arman Avagyan was inflicted damage of sciatic nerve of the right thigh.

In the result of resistance shown by the injured the mentioned persons escaped.

Through investigation two of the armed persons who had entered the mentioned bookmaker office were identified. On the base of the evidence obtained through preliminary investigation on October 28 the investigator made a decision to involve two persons as a defendant according to the Points 1, 6, 7 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104, the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. On the same day the investigator submitted a motion to the Court to use detention as a pretrial measure and declare search against them.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Active investigatory, operative-intelligence measures are taken to find all the circumstances of the case, the real circle of persons having committed the apparent crime, as well as to identify them.
