In the result of urgent investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the person having committed murder attempt against 24 year-old Taron Madatyan was identified.
 

It was earlier informed that on March 17, 2016 a call was received from «Astghik» medical center informing that Taron Madatyan (born in 1992) with two-sided firearm injuries on the inner sector of the left thigh and abdomen was taken to medical center. A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code, an investigatory group was created.
 

In the result of urgent investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case it was found that the young man was inflicted firearm injuries at the junction of Daniel Varuzhan and Israel Ori Streets where he had gone to meet his acquaintance F. Avagyan.
 

According to initial data, with the intend to kill Taron Madatyan the latter fired two shots towards him with a firearm after which he escaped in a car driven by him.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence the investigator made a decision to involve F. Avagyan as a defendant according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. On the same day the investigator submitted a motion to the court to use detention as a pretrial measure against him which was sufficed. Search was declared against the defendant.
 

Relevant subdivisions of the police were tasked to take measures to find him and bring him to the investigative body.
 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
