On March 17, 2016 at 18:20 a call was received from «Astghik » medical center informing that Taron Madatyan (born in 1992) with two-sided firearm injuries on the inner sector of the left thigh and abdomen was taken to medical center.
 

On the same day a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. Preliminary investigation of the criminal case was tasked to the investigatory group.
 

The site of the incident was found. Through its inspection a capsule of 9 mm caliber was found.
 

The residents of the houses near the site were interrogated, the videos captured by the cameras of the car service center located near the site were confiscated.
 

Forensic medical, forensic biological, forensic video recording and ballistic examinations were commissioned.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, necessary investigatory actions are conducted to find all circumstances of the case, the person having committed the apparent crime.
