Murder committed in Tavush revealed; charge pressed

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of murder committed in Tavush on March 18 were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified.
 

It was earlier informed that on March 18 at 23:45 a call was received from “Berd” medical center informing that Vrezh Matevosyan (born in 1978) with diagnosis of “agonal condition” and Gagik Chagharyan (born in 1988) with diagnosis of “clinical death” were taken to hospital.
 

A criminal case was initiated in Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 1 of the Article 104 and the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. By the decision of the Head of Tavush Regional Investigative Department an investigatory group was formed headed by the Head of Berd Investigative Division H. Garanyan, an investigatory plan was worked out and necessary investigatory and operative-searching actions were conducted to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of circumstances of the case. Forensic examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case.  
 

Through investigation it was found that Gagik Chagharyan was inflicted injury incompatible with life on his chest, Vrezh Matevosyan was inflicted heavy bodily damage by the resident of Berd, 25 year-old man during the row erupted on domestic affairs at peninsula area near Tavush reservoir on March 18, 2016 at about 22:30.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence on March 21 charge was pressed against the 25 year-old man according to the Points 1 of the Article 104 and the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. The investigator submitted a motion to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against him.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
