Murder in Malatia; circumstances mentioned in suspect’s testimony verified

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of Vahe Gevorgyan’s murder were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified, the firearm was found.
 

On September 2, 2016 at 21:35 a call was received from “Astghik” medical center informing that a man between 30 and 35 with an injury on the chest was taken to medical center. He died there without regaining consciousness.
 

The murdered man was identified; he was Vahe Gevorgyan born in 1987. Through the inspection of the body bleeding wounds were found on his chest and scrapes on the right elbow, right forefinger, face and on the left knee were found.
 

On September 2, 2016 a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code and in the result of urgent investigative and operative-searching actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case the site where the young man had been inflicted bodily injuries incompatible with life, the motive of the argument were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified.
 

On September 3 citizen A. Hayrapetyan was arrested on suspicion of committing crime and was interrogated. Inspection of the site was conducted in his presence during which he took out a pistol of “Gennings Firearms” model of American production which was confiscated.
 

A number of examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to verify the circumstances pointed in the suspect’s testimony, to identify those involved in the argument.
