In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case on 29 year-old Vahe Gevorgyan’s murder investigated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee new factual data on the person having committed the apparent crime were obtained.
 

On September 2, 2016 Vahe Gevorgyan, born in 1987, with injury on the chest was taken to “Astghik” medical center. He died there without regaining consciousness.
 

Through inspection of the body bleeding wounds were found on the frontal surface of the chest and scratches were found on the right hand, right wrist, the forefinger of the right hand, face and the left knee.  
 

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code, Vahe Gevorgyan was found an injured party.
 

In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-intelligence measures the site where injuries incompatible with life were inflicted to the young man, the motive of the argument were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified.  
 

In the result of investigatory actions conducted to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of the case sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that N. Ghazaryan, born in 1971, was directly involved in the incident. Necessary investigatory actions were conducted in his presence, confrontation was conducted.  
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against N. Ghazaryan for murdering V. Gevorgyan and illegally procuring weapon and ammunition. The investigator submitted a motion to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against him.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
