A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on Arsen Khanamiryan’s murder, the suspect was arrested.
 

On June 1, 2016 at 14:45 a call was received from “Aramyants” medical center informing that Arsen Khanamiryan with cut-pierced wound on the left part of the chest was taken to medical center from the junction of Nar-Dos and Vardanants streets of Yerevan, he died in hospital.
 

On June 1, 2016 a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
 

In the result of urgent investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case the person having committed the apparent crime was identified, the motive of murder was found. A 26 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of committing murder.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, necessary investigatory actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of all circumstances of the case.
