In the result of investigatory actions conducted as well as operative-intelligence measures taken within the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the person wanted on a charge of 29 year-old young man's murder was found. The latter was detained.

It was earlier informed that on October 9, 2019 a man's body with firearm injuries was taken to «Erebuni» medical center from South-Eastern district of Yerevan.

In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions conducted within the criminal case initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the victim was identified, he was a resident of Yerevan, born in 1990. The person having committed the alleged crime was also identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1996.

Pursuant to data obtained through investigation, on October 9, 2019 at about 21:10 during the argument on domestic issue that took place in the yard of one of the houses located on Andranik Street, with the purpose of illegal deprivation of life, the person having committed the alleged crime fired towards 29 year-old man with a firearm procured and kept by him illegally causing bodily injury incompatible with life.

On October 11, 2019 a decision was made to involve 23 year-old young man as a defendant according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him and search was declared.

In the result of operative-intelligence measures taken during preliminary investigation on October 31 23 year-old man was found and brought to the investigative body.

Charge was pressed against him according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
