Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on abuses committed by the headmaster and employees of “Stepanavan’s Basic School N 2” SNCO was completed in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

Pursuant to factual data obtained through investigation, the headmaster of the above-mentioned SNCO, holding the mentioned position from 1999, abusing official position registered the son of the driver employed at school as a school’s guard. From 2008 to 2010 being aware that the driver’s son did not attend work and did not carry out his service duties, out of mercenary motives with the help of two deputies director for economic affairs as well as the accountant of the school each month ratified false salary newsletters and payment lists with her signature and organization’s seal. Then the salary money in large amount - 1.070.330 AMD withdrawn in the name of the driver’s son was swindled by the headmaster and driver and equally distributed between them.

Besides, from 2011 to 2018the driver of the mentioned school signing in payment lists instead of his son and not receiving the money, gave the bank card in his son’s name to the accountant who cashed and handed the money in particularly large amount - 5.105.669 AMD to the headmaster.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the headmaster of the SNCO according to the Part 1 of the Article 314 (2 counts), the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 179 and the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 179 of RA Criminal Code. Charge was pressed against the driver according to the Part 1 of the Article 325 (2 counts), the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 38-179 and the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 38-179 of RA Criminal Code, against the accountant according to the Part 1 of the Article 38-314 and the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 38-179 of RA Criminal Code and against the deputies director – according to the Part 1 of the Article 38-314 of RA Criminal Code.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the motion to confirm the bill of indictment and send it to court was sent to the prosecutor.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
