Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on violence against the Deputy of RA National Assembly Aram Manukyan was completed in Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee.
 

On December 11, 2014 at 20:25 a call was received informing that the Deputy of NA Aram Manukyan was subjected to violence at the entrance of his house. A criminal case was initiated. Through preliminary investigation of the criminal case the circumstances of violence against the deputy were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified, as well.
 

Through preliminary investigation it was grounded that on December 11, 2014 at about 20:00 RA citizen A. Svazyan punched at Aram Manukyan’s face at the entrance of the building. According to the result of forensic examination, in the result of the punch light damage was inflicted to A. Manukyan’s health with short-term health disorder since the duration of consequences which were in direct causal relation with the injuries was more than 6 days but not more than 21 days.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence Arshak Svazyan was charged according to the Article 117 of RA Criminal Code.
 

The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor implementing supervision over the legality of preliminary investigation. The bill of indictment was confirmed and the case was sent to the Court of First Instance of Arabkir and Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative districts.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
