In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee search was declared against husband for inflicting heavy bodily damage to his wife.
 

It was earlier informed that in August, 2016 a call was received informing that during the argument the husband inflicted heavy bodily damages to his wife who was taken to medical center.
 

According to preliminary investigation data, on August 18 at about 22:00 the spouses argued on domestic affairs in the yard of their house during which the husband hit his wife on the head and different parts of her body with hands then with a metal bar. The injuries inflicted to her were assessed by experts as heavy damage threatening to life.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained in the framework of the criminal case in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a decision was made to involve the husband as a defendant according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him and search was declared. The relevant subdivisions of the police were tasked to take measures to find the person under persecution and bring him to the investigative body.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
