In the result of the work done and analysis of indices recorded at the Investigative Committee in 2023 the subdivision and investigator having demonstrated the highest efficiency, that is the subdivision and investigator found the best at the Committee have been determined.

The examination of the indices was carried out by the relevant commission established by the order of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee guided by the procedure and standards established by the order of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee "On Approving the Procedure, Conditions, Description of Awards" for recognizing the "Best Subdivision" and "Best Investigator".

During the Extended Board Session of the RA Investigative Committee held on February 7, Artut Melikyan, the chairman of the mentioned commission, RA IC Deputy Chairman presented the results of the examination carried out by the commission based on which the subdivisions and investigator, having demonstrated the highest results with quantitative and qualitative performance indicators in the previous year, have been determined. He noted that all the subdivisions of the Committee have been distinguished by their high productivity and results in 2023 and the process of determining the best was relatively more difficult in that respect.

Nevertheless, according to the commission’s assessment and orders of the RA Investigative Committee

The Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts was found the subdivision of the year of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee (Hambardzum Petrosyan, Head of the Division),

The Fourth Garrison Investigative Unit was found the  subdivision of the year of General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee (Melsik Shirvanyan, Head of the Unit),

Kotayk Regional Investigative Department was found the subdivision of the year of Regional Investigative Departments of the RA Investigative Committee (Hovhannes Chalabyan, Head of the Department).

Based on the selection within the RA IC territorial subdivisions, according to the order of the RA IC Chairman

Levon Kajaznuni, Deputy Head of the Department of Investigation of Grave Crimes of Yerevan Investigative Department, second class counselor of justice was found the «Investigator of the Year».

During the Extended Board Session of the RA Investigative Committee Argishti Kyaramyan, the RA IC Chairman solemnly handed the awards over to the awardees, congratulated them for the achievements. The Chairman of the Committee thanked the commission, as well for carrying out an unbiased, meticulous examination, he was glad to notice that this process has generated a healthy competition among the RA IC subdivisions contributing to the enhancement of productivity of the whole system.

The "Best Subdivision" and "Best Investigator" awards are held every year which is aimed at giving a proper evaluation to the professional and service activity of the IC functional subdivisions and investigators, fostering the efficiency of their work.
