In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee three persons were charged with inflicting Smbat Hakobyan heavy bodily damage.

In the result of investigatory and procedural actions conducted during preliminary investigation sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that on September 21, 2015 at about 15:00 in the construction site located at 2/2 Abovyan Street, Yerevan a group of people used violence against S. Hakobyan inflicting him heavy bodily damage.

On the base of the obtained evidence, on September 26 the residents of Yerevan H. Petrosyan, A. Sargsyan and A. Grigoryan were charged with willful infliction of heavy bodily damage to S. Hakobyan by a group of people according to the Point 6 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.

The investigator submitted a motion to the court to use detention as a pretrial measure against them.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Investigation is conducted to find the full circle of persons having used violence against S. Hakobyan.
