A criminal case was initiated in Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on murder of three persons at “Hot water” entertainment zone in Hanqavan village. In the result of operative measures a number of circumstances of murder were found.

On November 16, 2015 a call was received informing that two men’s bodies were taken to “Hrazdan medical center” CJSC, another man’s body was found at “Hot water” entertainment zone in Hanqavan village.

The investigatory-operative group headed by the Head of Kotayq Regional Investigative Department immediately left for the scene. In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case the dead persons were identified; they were the residents of Kotayq region, brothers Vardan and Vahe Galstyans and their friend Armen Hovhannisyan.

On November 17 a criminal case was initiated according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 (murder of two or more persons), the Part 1 of the Article 235 (illegal procurement, keeping of weapons, ammunition) of RA Criminal Code. On the same day a decision on creating an investigatory group was made.

In the result of investigatory and operative-intelligence joint actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case the motive of the crime was found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified, the rifle which was the tool of crime and the car which was used as a transportation means by the person having committed the apparent crime were found.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
