Two people arrested on suspicion of swindling money by cheating a citizen under the pretext of giving a bribe to several officials to enter the faculty of Law
In the framework of the criminal case being investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee on swindling money by cheating a citizen under the pretext of giving a bribe to several officials to have her son entered the faculty of Law of Yerevan State University on 28 November 2 people – RA citizens L. Kizokyan and L. Qosyan were arrested.
They are suspected of swindling money in large amount by cheating envisaged by the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 178 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is under way, necessary investigative measures are being taken to provide the comprehensiveness, completeness and objectiveness of the criminal case.
Additional information on the results of preliminary investigation will be provided.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
