In the result of the measures taken in the framework of the criminal case initiated on murder of the resident of Abovyan town, Raisa Margaryan a number of circumstances of crime were found. Based on the obtained evidence on 22 September 2 persons were arrested on suspicion of committing murder.
 

R. Margaryan was killed on 10 September.
 

According to the preliminary investigation data the persons suspected in the alleged crime entered the apartment, hit on 70 year-old Raisa Margaryan’s head for several times, took her to the bathroom, strangled her with a towel, then stealing money in large amount and golden jewels escaped.
 

A criminal case was initiated according to the Point 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code (murder out of mercenary motives and combined with extortion and banditry).
 

Forensic examinations have been appointed.
 

Preliminary investigation is under way.
