Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on apparent abuses committed within implementation of «North-South Road» program is ongoing in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee.

In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions conducted within preliminary investigation data were obtained on acquiring false tax accounts from another company without providing services with the intend to reduce tax duties committed by the director of subcontractor company implementing work based on the  subcontract agreement at Transh 1 section of the Program. The false tax accounts were involved in the gross income of the company and were reflected in the reports of the company submitted to State Revenue Committee adjunct to the RA Government.

In the result of the mentioned deals damage in particularly large amount was caused to the state, the company also evaded from paying taxes in particularly large amount.

On the base of the data obtained through investigation tax duties of 519.868.422 AMD in total were pressed against the mentioned companies 65.493.332 AMD of which are taxes.

On the base of the sufficient evidence obtained during preliminary investigation charges were pressed against the director of subcontractor company and the director of the company which had given tax accounts to the mentioned company without providing services according to the Point 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 38-189, the Part 2 of the Article 205 and according to the Part 3 of the Article 189, the Part 2 of the Article 38-205, accordingly. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against them.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
