In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in Masis Investigative Division of Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the burnt body found in Noramarg on February 22 was identified, circumstances of murder were found.
 

The victim was a resident of the village of Jrashen, 33 year-old G. Arzunyan.
 

According to preliminary investigation data, on February 11, 2016 the victim visited a 46 year-old resident of Ararat region with his fellow villager. They had a meal, drank vodka together during which a row erupted because of scolding.
 

The person having committed the apparent crime stuck G. Arzunyan on his head with a stick lying near the heater and killed him. Then according to initial data, the latter’s body was wrapped in a carpet, was taken to the water pipe located in the village of Noramarg, Ararat region and was burnt.
 

46 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. The man with whom the victim had visited the 46 year-old man was identified, as well and was apprehended.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
 

Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of circumstances of the case.
 

Other information on the criminal case shall not be published at this stage of investigation.
