Burnt body found; a criminal case initiated on murder
A criminal case was initiated in Masis Investigative Division of Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on finding a man’s burnt body in Noramarg.
On February 22, 2016 at about 22:30 a call was received informing that an unidentified man’s body with traces of violence was found in water pipe located at the end of the village of Noramarg.
The investigatory-operative group headed by senior investigator Artur Stepanyan immediately left for the site.
An unidentified man’s body with traces of violence and burnt was found in water pipe located at the end of the village of Noramarg, Ararat region. The body was found by two residents of the village of Noramarg while hunting at the mentioned area.
On February 23 a criminal case was initiated in Masis Investigative Division of Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code (murder).
Through inspection of the site traces of burnt jacket were found, appropriate samples of charred grass were taken from the midfield sector near the water pipe and water sample was taken from the water pipe.
Measures are taken to identify the body, to find the circumstances of murder.
Forensic medical, forensic genetic, forensic material examinations were commissioned.
Masis Station of RA Police was tasked to take operative-intelligence measures.
