Active investigatory and procedural actions are being taken within the criminal case investigated in the proceeding of territorial subdivisions of the RA Investigative Committee on apparent abuses committed by companies engaged in technical inspection of transport means to find out all circumstances, the real volume of damage caused to the state.

In the result of investigatory actions and explanatory work conducted within the criminal case initiated on abuses recorded during the activity of «Davit and Elina» LLC according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 178 of RA Criminal Code investigated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department on 16.10.2018 then on 23.10.2018  50.000.000 AMD was transferred to deposit account of the RA Investigative Committee by those involved as a defendant within the criminal case. In the framework of the mentioned criminal case during preliminary investigation 100 million AMD in total was restored.

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the director of the mentioned company and the chief of technical service station according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 178 and the Part 2 of the Article 325 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against them.

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department on abuses committed in the sphere of technical inspection of transport means 10.000.000 AMD was restored as compensation of damage caused to the state.

As it was already informed, based on the license received from the RA Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies, a number of companies carried out mandatory technical inspection of transport means in several regions of the republic and administrative districts of the capital during which apparent abuses were committed causing the state damage of particularly large amount. 28 criminal cases on the mentioned cases are investigated in the proceeding of territorial subdivisions of the RA Investigative Committee.

As of October 24, 371.400.000 AMD in total was transferred to RA IC deposit account by a number of companies engaged in technical inspection of transport means as restoration of damage caused to the state.

Preliminary investigation of the mentioned criminal cases is ongoing.
