A criminal case initiated on Arshak Grigoryan’s suicide
A criminal case was initiated in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on Arshak Grigoryan’s suicide.
On September 20 at about 13:20 a call was received from Gyumri’s medical center informing that A. Grigoryan’s body with a firearm injury on the head was taken to medical center.
In the result of urgent investigatory actions conducted on the base of the call it was found that the young man had been inflicted a firearm injury in the result of shot fired in the basement of their house. Through inspection of the site blood traces, a rifle of “Makarov” model with charged bullets and a capsule were found.
A criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 110 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.
Through inspection of the site necessary samples were taken and forensic examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case.
