A criminal case initiated on violence against the investigators
A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on violence against the investigators.
On June 3, 2015, at about 23:45 on their way home two investigators of Lori Regional Investigative Department noticed 20-30 persons arguing in the crossroad of Baghramyan and Meghapart streets of Stepanavan.
Approaching them and representing themselves as investigators of RA Investigative Committee, they demanded to stop the argument but some of the participants of the argument attacked the investigators, hit them with hands and feet inflicting them bodily damages.
A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 316 of RA Criminal Code.
By recommendation of the Chairman of RA Investigative Committee the preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases.
In the result of investigatory actions the persons having used violence against the investigators were identified, one person was arrested. Measures are taken to find the others.
