Armed assault against a bank branch; a criminal case initiated
On December 8 at 15:16 a call was received informing that an armed assault had been committed against one of the branches of “ProCredit Bank” CJSC.
The investigatory-operative group headed by the investigator of the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee immediately left for the site.
It was found that on the same day at 15:10 an unidentified person entered the bank, at gunpoint stole money in particularly large amount and escaped. According to initial data 1.300.000 AMD and 16.000 USD was stolen.
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code (banditry in particularly large amount with the purpose of theft) and according to the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code (illegal procurement, keeping, carrying of weapons).
Preliminary investigation is conducted.
Necessary investigatory and procedural actions are conducted to identify the person or persons having committed the apparent crime, to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of circumstances of the case.
