Arrested on suspicion of illegal entrepreneurial activity and arrogation

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the proceeding of General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee necessary investigatory and procedural actions are conducted to find the circumstances of illegal entrepreneurial activity in Artashat. One person was arrested.  
 

Taking the mass media interest towards the criminal case into consideration we inform that on January 26, 2017 a criminal case was initiated in Masis Division of RA Police on illegal entrepreneurial activity by G. Hakobyan according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 188 of RA Criminal Code. The criminal case was received in the RA Investigative Committee and conduction of preliminary investigation was tasked to General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee.
 

Pursuant to initial data, from March 6, 2016 to January 16, 2017 the rented area located at 137a, Myasnikyan, Artashat, Ararat region was used as everyday night club (“Amore” night club) without state registration and without registration in any subdivision of SRC tax inspectorate and public catering with striptease was organized where about 10 employees were involved without any written labor contract. In the result of the mentioned activity damage in particularly large amount was inflicted to the state.
 

Besides, through preliminary investigation data were obtained on execution of perceived authorities by G. Hakobyan who did not allow the employee of the same club to take his own musical instruments worth 8.500.000 AMD from the club.  
 

On March 13 G. Hakobyan was arrested on suspicion of committing crimes envisaged by the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 188 and the Part 1 of the Article 322 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
