In the result of investigatory actions conducted within the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of banditry committed with a knife against the flower shop assistant were found out. Charge was pressed against one person.

Pursuant to initial data, on November 30, 2018 at 05:36 taking advantage of the fact that the flower shop assistant was alone in the shop 46 year-old man visited the flower shop. Threatening to use violence dangerous for health and life that is pressing the knife he had taken in advance to the left part of the assistant's abdomen he demanded money and other valuable things. Being frightened of the threats the flower shop assistant gave the man 260.000 AMD available in the shop, a mobile phone of «Lenovo A 328» model and phones of «Panasonic» model, as well as three roses.

On November 30, 2018 a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Point 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code. Urgent investigatory and procedural actions were conducted. Inspection of the scene was conducted, the camera located at the area of the shop was confiscated, witnesses were questioned, investigatory action of recognition through photo was conducted during which the flower shop assistant recognized the person having committed the alleged crime. The shop owner and assistant were found the injured party.

In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-intelligence measures the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1972. The latter was arrested.

Forensic medical examinations were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

On December 3, 2018 charge was pressed against him according to the Point 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 and the Point 3.1 of the Part 2 of the Article 182 of RA Criminal Code. The investigator submitted a motion to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is under way. Necessary measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
