In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the burnt body found in Silikyan district was identified.

We remind that the body burnt and tied with a metal wire was found on May 17, 2018 in the pit on the left part of the second section of the third cemetery of Silikyan district. Through inspection cut-pierced injuries were also found on the neck of the body. 

Through investigation of the criminal case initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the burnt body was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan M. Vardanyan, born in 1998.

Working hypotheses have been worked out to find out circumstances of the man's murder and necessary investigatory and operative measures are taken to verify them.  At this moment other information about the criminal case shall not be published out of interests of investigation.

Within the measures taken to identify the body we had released the photos of tattoos found on the victim's body and asked those who know them to respond. It resulted in a short time.
