In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee 20 year-old young man's murder in Yerevan was revealed. The suspect was arrested.

The young man's body burnt and tied with a metal wire was found on the morning of May 17, 2018 in the pit on the left part of the second section of the third cemetery of Silikyan district. Through inspection cut-pierced injuries were also found on the neck of the body.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code. In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case the victim was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan M. Vardanyan, born in 1998, the body was given to recognition.

In the result of actions of great volume conducted to verify the working hypotheses worked out to reveal murder actual data were obtained on the person having committed the alleged crime, a number of circumstances of murder were found. The suspect who is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1980, was arrested.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
