In the result of necessary measures taken in the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of illegal appropriation of computer data were found, charge was pressed against 22 year-old girl.

In July, 2017 a call was received from a resident of Ararat region informing that another person had accessed her personal page in social site “Facebook” and changed her password.

In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case initiated on the incident a number of circumstances of the case were found, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; she is a girl-friend of the son of the affected, born in 1996.

Particularly, through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that the 22 year-old girl illegally accessed the personal page of her boy-friend’s mother for several times and changed the password of the mentioned page depriving the woman of the chance of using it.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 22 year-old girl according to the Part 1 of the Article 254 of RA Criminal Code, signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against her.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
