In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of theft committed by means of computer were found out. Charge was pressed against 30 year-old resident of Ararat.

Pursuant to initial data, on June 20, 2019 a report was submitted by a citizen in Arabkir Police Division informing that 69.000 AMD had been stolen from her “idram” wallet.

A criminal case was initiated in Arabkir Police Division according to the Part 1 of the Article 181 of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which is conducted in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

In the result of investigatory and procedural actions it was found out that on June 7, 2019 at 12:50 the citizen who had submitted a report gave the internet access IP to enter her “idram” wallet to the resident of Ararat, born in 1989. The latter transferred the money from the mentioned wallet to his acquaintance’s “idram” wallet, cashed it on the same day and stole.

Through search conducted in 30 year-old man’s apartment on October 11, 2019 the latter’s mobile phones, as well as computer technology were confiscated.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 30 year-old resident of Ararat according to the Part 1 of the Article 181 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case, as well as those possibly affected by the actions of the person having committed the alleged crime.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
