Charge Pressed against 35 Year-Old Man for Abetting to Commit Official Forgery
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on abetting an official to commit official forgery by a resident of the village of Nor Geghi was completed in Nairi Investigative Division of Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the latter.
Pursuant to factual data obtained through investigation the resident of the village of Nor Geghi of Kotayk province, born in 1983, being in normal relations with the staff secretary of the municipality of the same village, on June 13, 2018 through persuasion abetted her to enter obviously false information about actual place of residence in the name of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the official document.
On June 14, 2018 35 year-old man getting a false certificate gave it to the citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan without informing him that the certificate was false.
Besides, 35 year-old resident of Kotayk province in the same way obtained a false certificate about actual residence for a Russian citizen and gave it to the latter without informing that the certificate was false.
On the base of the sufficient evidence obtained during pretrial proceeding charge was pressed against 35 year-old resident of Nor Geghi village of Kotayk province according to the Part 1 of the Article 38-314 of RA Criminal Code (2 counts). Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
Earlier charge was pressed against the official - staff secretary of the municipality of Nor Geghi village according to the Part 1 of the Article 314 of RA Criminal Code (2 counts). The criminal case on her part was separated as a separate proceeding, preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
