In the result of necessary investigatory actions conducted in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of abusing official authority by the forester of “Khndzorut” forestry of “Gugarq’s forestry” branch of “Hayantar” SNCO were found. On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the forester.
 

Through investigation conducted in Lori Regional Investigative Department it was found that on December 1, 2015 citizen S. Kroyan was appointed the acting forester of “Khndzorut” forestry of “Gugarq’s forestry” branch of “Hayantar” SNCO and ought to directly control the forestry in addition to other functions - to control the works carried out at the area, prevent, find and proceed the violations of forest legislation in the order defined by law.  
 

Whereas, according to preliminary investigation data, in mid-December, 2015 at the area called “Rudnik” of the section N 7 of forestry the forester noticed that 3 residents of Lermontovo village illegally cut trees and branches of willow, hornbeam, maple, beech, birch of different diameters, rowan of Armenian type registered in RA “Red Book of Plants” with petrol-cut-off-saws and axes, disjoint them and prepared to take out of the forest, however he did not take any step to proceed the recorded violations in the order defined by law. According to investigation data, in the result of abuse of official authorities committed by the forester significant damage was inflicted to the state.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the forester according to the Part 1 of the Article 308 of RA Criminal Code (abuse of official authorities).
 

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
