On the base of sufficient evidence obtained through the criminal case investigated in Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed against night club manager for murder of 28 year-old man.

The body of 28 year-old man with traces of violence, cut-pierced bodily injuries on the abdomen was found on August 6, early in the morning near the night club “Varda” located on Yerevan-Yeraskhavan road.

In the result of urgent investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code the motive, a number of circumstances were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is the manager of the same night club, born in 1984.

Particularly, it was found out that on August 6, early in the morning the young man quarreled with the manager of the night club about entering the night club. The quarrel turned into brawl. During the incident 28 year-old man and the night club manager stabbed each other. As a result, the 28 year-old man died of bodily injuries incompatible with life he had sustained. The night club manager with cur-pierced injuries was taken to medical center.

Charge was pressed against the night club manager according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code and detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Forensic medical, forensic toxic chemical examinations were commissioned, a number of people were questioned. The knife which was the crime tool was found.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
