A criminal case was initiated in Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on 28 year-old young man’s murder. Urgent investigatory actions are conducted to find out the circumstances of the case.

On August 6, early in the morning a call was received informing that stabbing was committed near the night club “Varda” located on Yerevan-Yeraskhavan road.

The investigatory-operative group left immediately for the scene, a young man’s body with traces of violence, cut-pierced bodily injuries on the abdomen was found. The latter was identified: he is 28 years old.

The young man sustained bodily injuries incompatible with life during the argument that took place near the club. Pursuant to initial data, 34 year-old manager of the club also sustained bodily injuries during the same argument and was taken to medical center.

A criminal case was initiated in Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code. Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to find out the circumstances of the young man’s murder, sustaining bodily injuries by the club manager.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
