In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-intelligence measures taken in the framework of the criminal case investigated in Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of the case were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified, he was arrested.

The body of 28 year-old man with traces of violence, cut-pierced bodily injuries on the abdomen was found on August 6, early in the morning near the night club “Varda” located on Yerevan-Yeraskhavan road.

It was found out that he had sustained the bodily injuries incompatible with life during the argument that took place at the same place.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Ararat Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions a number of circumstances of the case were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is the manager of the same night club, born in 1984.

Particularly, through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that on August 6, early in the morning a row erupted between the 28 year-old man and the manager of the night club. The row turned into brawl during which a cutting-piercing item was used by one of those involved. As a result, 28 year-old man died at the scene and the club manager with cut-pierced injuries was taken to medical center.

34 year-old manager of the night club was arrested and questioned.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
