In the result of urgent investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of significant circumstances of murder of the resident of Yerevan Arshak Galstyan  were found, charge was pressed against one more person.

The body of 38 year-old Arshak Galstyan with firearm injuries was found on December 6, 2017 in his car of “Nissan” make parked at 13/2, Babajanyan Street.

In the result of urgent investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case initiated on the incident a number of circumstances of murder were found; shots had been fired towards A. Galstyan by a person who was in another car, the car make was found, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1986, the person who was driving the car was also identified; he is also a resident of Yerevan, born in 1994.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 23 year-old young man according to the Part 1 of the Article 38-104 of RA Criminal Code, a motion was submitted to court to choose detention as a pretrial measure against him.

Let us remind that the resident of Yerevan had been involved as a defendant for Arshak Galstyan's murder and search had been declared against him.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
