Active investigatory actions are conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of murder of mother and son Hakobyans committed in Gyumri. On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 37 year-old woman for abandoning the injured in danger at the crime site, concealing the crime.
 

It was earlier informed that on June 20, 2016 at 15:20 a call was received informing that Sargis Hakobyan, who lives in the district “Fountains” of Gyumri, and his mother do not respond and their cabin smells unpleasant.
 

Through inspection of the site in the cabin 228/268, Gyumri the bodies of the residents of the same cabin Sirik Hakobyan, born in 1936, and Sargis Hakobyan, born in 1960, were found. Actual data were obtained on the allegation that their death had been caused by violence used against them.
 

In the result of investigatory actions of great volume conducted in the framework of the criminal case initiated in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code a number of circumstances of the case, the motive were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified; he is G. Khachanyan.
 

Through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that on June 17, 2016 G. Khachanyan with his girl-friend A. Yenoqyan were hosted at Sargis and Sirik Hakobyans’, they had a meal together and had alcoholic drink. While being hosted a row over personal matters erupted between S. Hakobyan and G. Khachanyan which turned into beating during which bodily injuries incompatible with life were inflicted to Hakobyans by G. Khachanyan.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence on June 24, 2016 charge was pressed against G. Khachanyan according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 and detention was used as a pretrial measure against him.
 

In the result of investigatory actions of great volume on February 25, 2017 charge was pressed against A. Yenoqyan according to the Part 1 of the Article 128 and the Part 1 of the Article 334 of RA Criminal Code for concealing the murder and abandoning them in danger.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
