Charge Pressed for Inflicting Heavy Bodily Damage
In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of inflicting a citizen heavy bodily damage in Sari Tagh were found. Charge was pressed against minor resident of Yerevan.
Pursuant to the data obtained through investigation, on May 21, 2018 at about 21:00 during the argument over personal matters in the yard of one of the houses of Sari Tagh district the minor resident of Yerevan, born in 2000, stabbed 30 year-old A. Ghazaryan on his abdomen inflicting him heavy bodily damage threatening to life. Then the teenager fled and threw the knife which was the crime tool into “Aghi” lake located at the back part of “Plaster” factory of Yerevan.
On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the minor resident of Yerevan according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. The latter was questioned. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against the minor.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
