Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on infliction of heavy bodily damage to the resident of Armavir province was completed in Vagharshapat Investigative Division of Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the resident of Yerevan.

Through comprehensive investigation the circumstances of the case, the motive were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1989.

Through investigation data were obtained on the allegation that on the morning of July 11, 2018 noticing his girl-friend talking with the employee of the gas station operating on Ashtarak highway of Armavir province 30 year-old resident of Yerevan approached them and interfered with conversation. Using a trivial reason the 30 year-old man started arguing with the gas station employee. Pursuant to data obtained through investigation the resident of Yerevan saw his girl-friend off and returned to the gas station where roughly violating public order, showing disrespect to public hit the gas station employee on the face for several times and left.  

However, in order to emphasize his advantage he returned again, hit the employee on the face with a fist after which he stabbed the latter twice on different parts of his body with a knife causing heavy damage dangerous for life.  

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 30 year-old resident of Yerevan according to the Point 9 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 and the Part 4 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
