A criminal case was initiated in Tumanyan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on 33 year-old man’s stabbing.

On March 13, 2019 a call was received from “Vanadzor Medical Center” CJSC informing that a resident of Lori province, born in 1985, with cut-pierced wounds on the left part of the chest, in critical condition was taken to medical center.

On March 13, 2019 a criminal case was initiated in Tumanyan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. The man was found the injured party.

In the result of urgent investigatory and procedural actions conducted within the criminal case a number of circumstances, the scene were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified.

Pursuant to initial data, 33 year-old man had sustained the mentioned injuries on March 12, 2019 at about 23:00 during the argument with a fellow villager. The latter fled.

During preliminary investigation a number of investigatory actions were conducted – inspection of the scene, confiscation, eye-witnesses were questioned. Forensic medical examination was commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.

The relevant subdivision of the Police was tasked to take necessary measures to find the person having committed the alleged crime and to bring him to the investigative body.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
