Investigation is conducted in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of abuses allegedly committed by the head of Ghursali community.

Through prepared materials data were obtained on the allegation that the head of Ghursali community of Lori province, out of mercenary motives to provide his family with additional income, on November 20, 2007 signed a sale contract with his wife based on which the community land of 0.1 ha was given to the latter. A short while after signing the sale contract with his wife – on December 11, 2007 the community head, handed over 200 square meter of the mentioned area to one of the telecommunications operators in Armenia for 480.000 AMD annually. As a result, he received income of 5.280.000 AMD until June, 2020.

A criminal case was initiated in Spitak Investigative Division according to the Part 2 of the Article 308 (abuse of official authorities) and was sent to Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

Preliminary investigation is conducted.
