Criminal Case Initiated on Apparent Exceeding Official Authorities Received in Proceeding
The criminal case initiated in the RA Prosecutor General’s Office on apparent exceeding official authorities was received in the proceeding of the RA Investigative Committee.
On September 11, 2018 the record of telephone conversation between the Director of RA National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan and the Chief of RA Special Investigatory Service Sasun Khachatryan entitled “Conversation of RA NSS Director and RA SIS Chief Appeared on Internet” was disseminated through electronic media.
Taking into consideration that in the publications and record there are apparent data on exceeding official authorities a criminal case was initiated in the RA Prosecutor General’s Office according to the Part 1 of the Article 309 of RA Criminal Code. The criminal case was sent to the RA Investigative Committee.
Conduction of preliminary investigation of the criminal case was tasked to the RA IC General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
