On May 5, 2020 at 07:30 a call was received from a citizen informing that in the yard of the house 91 of South-Western B-2 district  there were 3 persons were lying on the ground two of which were children.

The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the scene and in the yard of the house found bodies of a man and two children.

It was found out that one of the persons found in the yard was a resident of the same house, born in 1980, the children were the latter’s children.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 (murder) and the Part 1 of the Article 110 (causing to suicide) of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of taken measures actual data were obtained on the allegation that the man’s ex-wife and children – the son, born in 2013, and daughter, born in 2015, had been hosted in the mentioned address.

Pursuant to initial data the father threw the children then himself out of the window of the 9^th floor of the house.

Urgent investigatory and other procedural actions, including inspection of the scene were conducted, samples were taken, a number of persons were questioned, forensic examinations of the body were commissioned, a number of hypotheses were put forward.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
