Criminal Case Initiated on Running over Citizen by Electric Locomotive
Investigation is conducted in the Division of Investigation of Traffic Crimes of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of running over a citizen by electric locomotive.
Pursuant to initial data, on November 25, 2018 at about 20:30 at Spandaryan 9th section of the railway in front of the electric column N 201 the machinist of Yerevan locomotive depot in the electric locomotive driven by him ran over an unidentified person. As a result, the latter died at the scene.
A criminal case was initiated in the Division of Investigation of Traffic Crimes of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 2 of the Article 241 of RA Criminal Code.
The machinist was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1956.
Forensic medical examination was commissioned.
Instruction was given to operative-intelligence bodies to identify the man, to find out witnesses, real circumstances of the accident.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
