Criminal Case Initiated on Willful Infliction of Heavy Bodily Damage
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on willful infliction of heavy bodily damage to health.
Pursuant to initial data, on January 2, 2019 at about 05:00 during the argument that took place near 5, Northern Avenue, Yerevan 26 year-old young man hit a resident of Yerevan, born in 1978, on the chest and abdomen with a cutting-piercing item causing bodily injuries.
On January 2, 2019 a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork Marash administrative districts according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.
Pursuant to data obtained during preliminary investigation the person having committed the alleged crime left the area of the Republic of Armenia.
Through inspection of the scene blood-like traces were found.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
